Building a County That Looks Out for Each Other

A county-supported mentoring effort connecting students with trusted adults
Partnerships with churches and community organizations already serving families
Mentors commit one hour per week to: Build positive relationships, Offer guidance and encouragement and Help students grow in confidence and responsibility
Mentors are recognized with: a shared meal to strengthen community and a modest stipend to show appreciation for consistent commitment
Why This Matters
Strong relationships help kids succeed. By supporting mentors who already care about our youth, the county can strengthen families, build community, and invest in our future.
I support a voluntary summer employment partnership where:
The county helps cover part of a teen’s wages
Local small businesses cover the rest
Teens gain real-world job experience and skills
It’s practical, affordable, and benefits our whole community.

As County Commissioner, I commit to:
Listening before making decisions
Communicating clearly about what the county is doing
Bringing people together to find solutions that work for everyone Good government starts with trust.
I want to hear from you. Your concerns, ideas, and hopes matter.
